Based on the middle Texas coast, Capt. Pete Kaple operates around Corpus Christi, Port Aransas, and the surrounding marsh systems. These waters offer some of the best sight fishing opportunities for redfish in Texas, with shallow flats, back lakes, and winding marsh drains that provide year-round opportunities on fly.

A 50% deposit is required to book. The remaining 50% is to be paid in cash or Venmo the day of the trip. Cancellations more than 2 weeks prior to the trip will be full refunded. Cancellations within two weeks of the trip will result in loss of deposit. Cancellations due to weather and risk of safety will be refunded or held for rescheduling.

Not at all. Whether it's your first time holding a fly rod or you've spent years chasing fish on the flats, trips are tailored to your experience level. Instruction is available throughout the day, including casting, fish spotting, presentation, and fighting fish.

Trips are based around Port Aransas, Aransas Pass and the surrounding waters of the middle Texas coast. Launch locations may vary depending on weather, tides, and fishing conditions.

A valid Texas fishing license, polarized sunglasses, weather appropriate clothing, and sunscreen. All fly fishing equipment, flies, drinks, and lunch are provided.

Safety is always the top priority. If weather conditions make it unsafe to fish, we'll work together to reschedule your trip for another available date.
